What can smile makeovers treat?
Smile makeovers use a combination of treatments and for this reason, they can treat a variety of smile concerns. Whether your teeth are crooked, widely spaced, discoloured or worn down, a smile makeover can be a suitable solution.
Below we have put together several oral concerns and listed the corresponding treatment that may be used. Keep in mind this is a guide and treatment is determined on a case by case basis.
Discoloured teeth: Teeth whitening, veneers
Crooked teeth: Veneers, crowns, orthodontics
Widely spaced teeth: Veneers
Worn-down teeth: Dental crowns, veneers
Missing tooth or teeth: Dental bridge, dental implants, dentures
Crowded teeth: Orthodontics
Before we begin treatment, we ensure all oral health concerns are addressed first. This means, once treatment is completed your smile will be healthy as well as aesthetically pleasing.
What is the treatment process?
To begin, you will be booked in for a consultation appointment with one of our dentists. They will get an understanding of your situation and learn more about your smile goals.
From here, the dentist will provide you with a treatment plan that addresses your smile concerns, budget and goals. If you have dental extras, you will be able to provide your health fund with the item numbers from your treatment plan. These item numbers will allow your health fund to give you an accurate quote of how much you will be able to claim back.
At The White Bite, we also offer payment plans through Zip and Afterpay.
If you are happy to go ahead with your treatment plan, you will be booked in for treatment. Procedures such as veneers, porcelain crowns or dental bridges normally take between 1 to 5 business days to complete. However, if multiple treatments are needed, it may take longer.
How much does a smile makeover cost?
The cost of a smile makeover is determined by the type of treatment/s required and the oral health of the patient. For this reason, the complete cost is ascertained at an initial consultation.
However, you can gain an idea of the cost of treatment via our dental packages page.
What are some of your smile makeover cases?
At The White Bite we have a number of patients approach us who are looking to enhance their smiles. In some instances, these patients require several treatments to complete their smile.
The patient below was missing several front teeth and wanted to improve the overall appearance of his smile. Our dentist Dr Dinos Kountouras placed a 5-unit dental bridge to replace his missing front teeth. To further improve the colour and position of the patient’s teeth, Dr Dinos placed 6 porcelain veneers.
Our lovely patient below was unhappy with the colour and shape of her teeth. To help improve the patients smile aesthetics, Dr Dinos Kountouras placed our 10 Veneer Smile Makeover Package and undertook additional gum re-contouring.
